Volunteers are a vital part of our Genspace community, both inside and outside the lab. Volunteer opportunities include:

• Mentoring individual members, students, and community project teams in biology, biotechnology, art, design, science writing, experiment design, and more

• Working with our High School Biorocket Research Internship

• Assisting with events in our space and offsite

• Serving as a TA for workshops, classes, and programs

• Helping to clean and organize laboratory equipment and supplies

Volunteers will receive discounts on Genspace classes and workshops commensurate with the number of hours volunteered.
